Shop Security Permissions

The following permissions are available for restricting access to the shop areas of the Web Office:

  • Shop Managers
The Shop Manager permissions allow administrators to manage the shop and process orders. The following permissions can be granted:
    • Order Notes - Granting this permission allows the owner to enter additional text as they place orders. This can be useful, for example, for sales staff.
    • Order Management – This permission enables the user to process orders in the Shop area of the Web Office. They may also see the items in the catalogue (including hot picks and special offers) but they may not make any changes.
    • Full Manager – This permission gives full access to the shop including editing the product catalogue as well as access to the other E-commerce settings found in the Settings area (Note:They will also require the Full Administrator permission to gain access to the Settings area).
  • Shop Catalogue Editor
    • Reviews - grants access to edit item reviews and comments.
    • Features - grants access to create and edit “hot picks” as well as set item presentation priorities.
    • Exclusion - allows the user to change the visibility of items in the catalogue.
    • Pricing - grants access to modify item prices
    • Product Editor - grants access to change product descriptions.
    • Advanced - allows the user to change the catalogue structure for groups below the current one.
